2021 Awards

Congratulations to the winners of the inaugural International Montessori Awards 2021! This year’s awards showcased excellence within the early years and primary education, recognising efforts to make it a diverse and inclusive sector and celebrating individuals learning, working in, and promoting a Montessori-inspired approach to education.

Bella Barron, Director of The Parent Collaborative and a Trainer Consultant for Young Minds:

‘It was a pleasure to be asked to consider the nominations for the shortlist and humbling to read about the remarkable work going on, across the board, in the field of Montessori education.  From the children (Sustainability Award), to support workers, and researchers, the passion to create a better world, in which everyone is supported, is evident and with researchers like these we will also have a growing body of high quality evidence to support more work going forward.  Huge congratulations to all those who were shortlisted, it was not an easy task!’
