Little Dukes Training Academy
Little Dukes Training Academy is a new initiative from Dukes Education, a family of nurseries, schools and colleges that provides an extraordinary education for every child in their care.
Little Dukes Training Academy (LDTA) will foster and encourage educators to establish a golden standard of early years education across the whole sector. Whether it’s training as a Montessori guide or an early year’s practitioner, the LDTA aims for excellence in early years.
LDTA has received approval through the Standards & Training Accreditation Review (STAR) framework operated by MCI and will welcome students onto training programmes from September 2021.
LDTA will become MCI’s first operational Host Centre, delivering MCI’s courses and qualifications from its premises in south-west London. This will drive a vitally important step change in access to professional training and community focused development; helping to raise the status of teaching at the infant and early years levels.
The partnership aims to enhance access to high-quality training for educators and early-years practitioners. Society is rapidly evolving; to meet the challenges of the future, innovative and inclusive educational practices that support and train our next generation of educators are more important than ever.
LDTA will offer a range of MCI programmes including:
Integrating Montessori Practice (IMP): Infant & Toddler Specialism (Birth – Three years)
Integrating Montessori Practice (IMP): Philosophy & Practice
